On 16 July 2026, Container Ledger Account (CLA) Southern Region had the opportunity to attend the Malaysian International Chamber of Commerce and Industry (MICCI) Southern Region Monthly Get Together , hosted by MICCI Southern Region and UOB FinLab , featuring the theme " Harnessing Malaysia's AI Landscape for Business Growth. " The session brought together industry professionals to explore how artificial intelligence is shaping Malaysia's digital transformation and empowering businesses.

The event began with a presentation by Ms. Mydiana Mazlan , Senior Manager, State Office (Southern Office), Malaysia Digital Economy Corporation (MDEC), titled "The Future of Malaysia's Digital Economy." She shared insights into strengthening Malaysia's digital economy and the nation's vision of becoming an AI-driven country under the 13th Malaysia Plan (RMK13).

The next session was delivered by Ms. Najwa from SRKK, who introduced Microsoft 365 Copilot and demonstrated how businesses can maximise its capabilities to improve productivity and streamline daily operations. The session concluded with Mr. Mohd Hairulnizam , who presented the "Jom Start AI Plan" packages, highlighting Microsoft business solutions and AI-powered applications designed to support organisations in their digital transformation journey.

The event concluded with refreshments hosted by UOB Bank, providing attendees with the opportunity to network, exchange ideas, and strengthen connections with fellow industry professionals.
