CLE Expension to Sabah: Strengthening Malaysia's Logistics Ecosystem

On 8 June 2026, a significant step forward was taken in expanding the Container Logistics Ecosystem (CLE) initiative to Sabah.

Through the Engagement Session on Improvements of the National Logistics Ecosystem with Sabah Logistics Industry Players, CLE was introduced to key stakeholders across Sabah's logistics community, including representatives from Sabah Ports Sdn. Bhd. , the Federation of Malaysian Manufacturing (FMM), Sabah Shipping Agents Association (SSAA), SABFFLA committee members, depot operators, and freight forwarders.

The session commenced with a welcoming address by Mr. Edward Binty, MPC Sabah Manager, followed by a presentation by Encik Ir. Riwayat Mansor, MPC Associate, with the title Managing Rising Costs to Enhance Labour Productivity and Business Performance in a Challenging Market Environment.

A dedicated CLE presentation by En. Harbani Murzaki bin Mohamed Ismail highlighted how CLE can drive greater efficiency, transparency, and digitalisation across the container logistics ecosystem while addressing industry challenges and enhancing operational performance.

The positive engagement and constructive discussions reflected the industry's readiness to embrace digital transformation and paved the way for broader CLE adoption in Sabah.

This marks an important milestone towards building a more connected, efficient, and integrated logistics ecosystem across Malaysia.
